Singapore is one of my favorite cities/countries. I’d actually love to live there one day but I doubt that will ever happen. One thing I really like is the abundance of cute, hip cafes – including cat cafes! My favorite cat cafe in the whole world is actually in Singapore. It’s called “The Company of Cats“.
What’s so special about this place? Well, on the day we visited, it was really quiet, so there were a lot of cats to go around! The decor, however, is the best part. It’s both cat-friendly and undeniably cool. It even has Pusheen cushions. If you haven’t heard of Pusheen, you need to check it out by the way.
There are shelves full of cute cat art and funny cat books such as “How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting To Kill You“. These shelves double as a kitty playground. I bet the staff have to pick all of the trinkets off the floor on a regular basis – you know how cats love to knock things over…
This cat cafe has 11 residents at the time of publishing. There is plenty of space for them along with quite a few human guests. To enter, you must pay a cover charge of $14SGD for the first hour and then $5SGD for each half hour after that. This includes a standard drink. There are reduced rates on weekends and for members.
There’s a little store area by the reception desk – it’s full of cute feline merchandise. I got two stickers for free with entrance, but I’m not sure if they still do that. They’re happily decorating one of my storage baskets.
The Company of Cats is located in the Chinatown district of Singapore and you should have no problems finding it. The exact address is 6B Mosque Street. Check out the gallery below for some photos 🙂
